Class of '57 Biography
This lively oldies rock band started in 1979 by Phil Ridgeway (Phil N The Blanks). Most of the past members of the “Class” have graduated and taken their lives in other directions. But the oldie’s music bug has bitten some of the past members and the band has returned to the stage. The “Class of ‘57" is having a great time playing and singing all of the old favorites.

Some of the songs that make them want to jitterbug include Kansas City, Shake Rattle and Roll or Sea Cruise. Other tunes like Where the Boys Are or Since I Fell for You gives them a chance to reminisce about their past sweethearts. The surfin’ songs like Surfin’USA or California Sun always remind them of the Beach Boys or the Ventures. The motown favorites like My Girl or Ain’t too Proud to Beg put them in mind of the Temptations. The times, the fun and the music all go together and bring happiness to the people who come to see the “Class of ‘57.” The “Class”is excited to be back and ready to ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The “Class” includes: Jimmy (Pianoman) Drain on keys, Jim (Skippy) Fisher on his rockin’ guitar, Gary (Showtime) Sands on bass, "Loose Bruce" Woodring kickin’ the drums, Jefferson (The Professor) Rice on woodwinds, and Sherry (The Boss) Domer on vocals.
